XE-UK Character IllustrationsA series of vector character illustrations for North East party and events organisers Xtreme Entertainment UK, who hoped to target their marketing campaign at both children and adults.
The three main characters Magic Jack, Reggie the Rabbit and Denzil the Dragon were created by local artist Jez Hunt to give the company a fun and friendly face.
I was commissioned to recreate the original characters in new poses to be used in a number of interactive and multimedia projects from an animated flash point of sale advert to a full flash website. They were even used by Xtreme Entertainment UK in their van graphics.
The characters were first sketched with pencil and paper, before being scanned and tidied up in Adobe Photoshop. The finished line drawings were then imported into Macromedia Flash, where they were re-drawn and shaded in vector format. |
